A father-son duo, Captains Victor Sr. and Victor Jr. have a proven track record and unmatchable local knowledge of the Sea of Cortés. They fish the waters about 300 days of the year! You’ll be in the best hands as you embark on the journey of a lifetime onboard one of our two super pangas – the Victoria and Ma Victoria.
CAPTAIN VICTOR SR.
A lifelong Baja California Sur native and fisherman, Captain Victor Sr. was born in La Ribera and has been fishing the Sea of Cortés for 50+ years.
A patriarch and charming gentleman, Captain Victor Sr. treats visitors to the East Cape as if they were members of his own family. His passion for fishing started at the age of 12, and he went on to work as a commercial fisherman before working with Victoria Fleet Fishing Charters. He knows where to find the best live bait and can take you to the well-preserved fishing spots in Baja California Sur.
CAPTAIN VICTOR JR
Captain Victor Jr. grew up fishing alongside his father Victor Sr in La Ribera, Mexico for the last 25+ years. A skilled fisherman, Captain Victor Jr. is both daring and innovative. He is ready to jump into action and seeks out adventure on his super panga, the Victoria.
Captain Victor Jr's patience and willingness to teach also makes him the perfect captain for those who have a desire to learn more about how to expertly fish the Sea of Cortez.
